Yuri Tarnowecky

B.A. LL.B.

Yuri received his Bachelor of Arts from Guelph University, attended Queen’s University Law School and was called to the Bar in 1975. He has been practising law in Kingston for over 50 years. His expertise includes residential and commercial real estate, wills and estates. Since moving to Kingston in 1969, Yuri has been an active member of the Kingston Community:

Ivanna Tarnowecky

B.A. Juris Doctor, Barrister & Solicitor

Ivanna Tarnowecky graduated from Regiopolis-Notre Dame in 2007 as an Ontario Scholar with a degree in French Immersion and an International Baccalaureate Degree. Ivanna received her Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, majoring in Book & Media studies with minors in both French as a Second Language and Cinema Studies. In 2012, Ivanna attended Bond University for her law degree and subsequently graduated in 2014. Ivanna was called to the Bar in 2015 and has been practising ever since.

Brad. A. Fochesato

B.A. (HONS), J.D.

Brad Fochesato is an Associate in our Real Estate and Wills and Estates departments.

A native of Windsor, Brad, received his J.D. from Queen's University Faculty of Law. Prior to studying law, he earned his Honours Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University, where he completed majors in both Political Science and Canadian History.

Scott Raycroft-Wright

B.A. (HONS.). J.D.

Scott grew up in Newmarket, Ontario before moving to London, Ontario to attend the University of Western Ontario, where he received an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in 2011 and a Juris Doctorate in 2019. He spent his first six years of legal practice in Belleville, Ontario and is excited to now be in Kingston to practice with the team at Tarnowecky Law.

When not at the office, Scott can usually be found spending time with his wife, four kids, three cats, two dogs, and extensive collection of cleaning supplies.

Kevin Kiss

B.A. (HONS.), J.D.

Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Kevin earned his Honours Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from York University before obtaining his Juris Doctor from Queen’s University Faculty of Law. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2026 and joined the firm that same year.

Kevin is committed to delivering practical, responsive, and client-focused legal services, and takes pride in guiding clients through significant personal and financial decisions with clarity and care.

Outside of the office, Kevin enjoys reading, staying active, and exploring film and television.

Wilson E.D. Derbyshire

B.A. & Sc. (HONS). LL.B

Wilson E. D. Derbyshire received his Honours Bachelor of Arts and Science degree from the University of Guelph. During his undergraduate studies, Wilson worked at the Ontario Veterinary College and served as the Amazon Prime Campus Manager. Wilson obtained his law degree from the University of Leicester in England, the birthplace of Canada’s common law.
